In preparation for OMEGA GEN 2026: THE ESTHER MANDATE, our team has put together a 5-day Bible reading plan that will take us through the Book of Esther, while reflecting on the theme of the Esther Mandate, and our International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Worldwide theme of the Kingdom Year.
"So," I hear you asking, "how does this work?" I'm glad you asked. Each day, on this page, we'll be posting a brand new video explaining the chapters we read, and provided a guided prayer, and some discussion questions.
We encourage you to go through the study like this:
Read the actual text of the Bible (the assigned chapters of the Book of Esther)
Watch the video
Read the description and blog post
Discuss with your friends on this page!
You can also engage with the study in any way you want really; the recommended steps are more so designed to help you get started.
In order to participate in the discussion, you'll have to sign in to this website (you can just use the email you used to register for camp, or just login with Google). Once you do, you can participate in the discussion in the comments, and react to other's insights, questions, or concerns. It is our team's hope that you'll come alongside us as we explore the character of Esther, and how she stepped into her calling and her purpose. This Kingdom Year, Esther provides us an example how we can wear our crowns and stand up boldly for Christ. One more thing: if you want to get a general overview of the Book of Esther, and get some perspective on the book from a scholarly and practical view, we encourage you to check out the Bible Project's video and guide on the book.
Alright, that's enough yapping (or reading) for now. We're so excited to have you join us for this Bible Study and for camp.
