Esther Mandate Devotional Day 5 (THE FINALE!): The Esther Mandate: Remember, Rejoice, and Represent! - Esther Ch. 9-10



In this final video our Color Group Lead, Deborah Mensah, discusses how Kingdom victory becomes testimony, generosity, and leadership that seeks the welfare of God’s people. Esther ends with reversal, celebration, and leadership. Mordecai helps establish Purim so that God’s rescue will not be forgotten. The people rejoice, give gifts, and remember together. Then the book closes by highlighting Mordecai’s leadership for the good of others. Esther 9–10 teaches us that spiritual victory should produce thanksgiving, generosity, and a life that seeks the welfare of God’s people. Deliverance becomes legacy when it is remembered and embodied.

I agree, God is not done writing our stories! Today's devotional reminds me that there is so much more God is working out in my life to bring glory to His Kingdom. One thing I was grateful to learn from this devotional is how remembrance cultivates an awareness of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. As we remember God's faithfulness, we are often led into greater joy, peace, and love through generosity, celebration, and fellowship. I have always found it important to remember God and His works, but now I can better reflect on the ways He uses remembrance to reveal His goodness and sustain His people throughout generations. To God be the glory! #Purim

Esther Mandate Devotional Day 4: How Esther Used Her Voice, and How You can Use Yours - Esther Ch. 7-8



In this video our Finance Lead, Anthony (Tony) Fosu discusses Esther 7-8,. Kingdom influence is not for self-preservation. It is for intercession, truth-telling, and the rescue of others. At Esther’s second banquet, she finally names the danger and identifies fully with her people. Her courage is not self-promoting; it is intercessory. Even after Haman falls, Esther returns to plead again because the danger is not fully removed. Esther 7–8 teaches us that kingdom influence must be used for others. It also reminds us that God’s deliverance is about creating a way for His people to stand and live, and stands up to all those who oppose His will.

What encouraged me about Esther’s story in this moment is the need for persistence and consistency. She was prepared, she had boldly acted, and she persisted in constancy. And she went all the way, ensuring that after Haman got literally snatched out of the palace, deliverance for the Jews was complete in another royal decree. May God give us the grace to truly see things through, and may He who began a good work us bring it to completion in Jesus name (Philippians 1:6)

Esther Mandate Devotional Day 3: The Importance of Fasting, Wisdom of Mordecai, and the Great Reversal - Esther Ch. 5-6



In this video, our head of administration, Adriel Lomotey, covers the thickening plot in Esther 5 and 6, as the story flips on its head like a dreydel. Esther does not rush into action casually. She fasts, prepares, and then moves with remarkable wisdom. Her first banquet seems almost like a delay, but chapter 6 reveals that God is using that space to begin the reversal. A sleepless king, a forgotten act of faithfulness, and a proud enemy collide at exactly the right time. Esther 5–6 reminds us that God’s hidden providence often works through ordinary moments to produce extraordinary reversals. Esther shows us that Kingdom courage is not reckless. It is prayerful, strategic, patient, and trusting in God’s hidden providence.

“Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for 'God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.'”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬


One of the most satisfying aspects of the book of Esther are the reversals. The proud that expect to be honored are instead humbled and humiliated (Haman), and the humble that seek the good of others are elevated and honored (Esther and Mordecai). The workarounds are incredible, and it point to a theme we see throughout the Hebrew Bible. this reversal, of God exalting the humble and humbling the proud, is also often referenced in music. See the the songs of the Psalms, in Hannah’s rejoicing in 1 Samuel, and in Mary’s Magnificat in Luke. God loves to subvert expectations and as the Apostle Peter notes, give “grace” (favor) to the humble.

The fasting and prayer and all the preparation Esther did in the previous chapter have led to this moment of crisis, where she must make a bold choice and, in faith, act to save her people. Some thing I've been meditating on is that God is in every one of these moments, curating Esther and Mordecai’s experiences, and orchestrating events to ensure that His people are indeed saved. Esther and Mordecai don’t know the end of the story from the beginning, but God does. That same truth applies to us as well. God is going to lead us, and our God will indeed save us.

What a word indeed! 🙌🏾 I can offer my gifts and influence back to God by making sure my actions and words reflect Him. In everything I do, I want to give God all the glory. My prayer is that when people see me, they don’t just see me, they see the fruit of the Spirit, His love, and His light at work in my life.

Welcome, dear friend to the ESTHER MANDATE DEVOTIONAL. Before you read any further, please watch video above! In preparation for OMEGA GEN 2026: THE ESTHER MANDATE, our team has put together a 5-day Bible reading plan that will take us through the Book of Esther, while reflecting on the theme of the Esther Mandate, and our International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Worldwide theme of the Kingdom Year. "So," I hear you asking, "how does this work?" I'm glad you asked. Each day, on this page, we'll be posting a brand new video explaining the chapters we read, and provided a guided prayer, and some discussion questions.
